The Tucson Jazz Institute Ellington Big Band says THANK YOU to the donors and Travel Sponsors of their recent trip to NYC and the Essentially Ellington Regional Festival held at the Newark Academy in New Jersey on April 15, 2023 – host and organizer Julius Tolentino. Special thank you to long-time travel sponsor JACK FURRIER and the TJI Ben Stowers Scholarship Fund. Together with our many other donors we were able to sponsor all the travel expenses for 29 TJI students, and provided full travel scholarships for six TJI scholarship students. It was an amazing experience.
